Melben is hiring a Material Handler for a manufacturer in Ellwood City, PA. This is a direct-hire, full-time position on the employer's payroll, with one opening on second shift. Pay is $16 to $18 per hour, depending on experience.

The material handler keeps the production floor supplied. You move raw stock and finished parts between receiving, storage and the machine operators, using a forklift and hand equipment. You stage materials on time so the production and machine operators are never waiting on parts.

This role suits someone who has done real physical work before and wants steady hours in a plant setting. If you have driven a forklift at work, worked in a warehouse, shipping and receiving, or in a factory, steel mill or machine shop, we want to hear from you. Applicants must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

Load and unload trucks and move materials by forklift and hand truck
Stock and retrieve raw materials and finished goods
Stage parts and supplies at production machines on schedule
Keep aisles, staging areas and storage clear and safe
Count and log inventory moved during the shift

Requirements

Prior hands-on work in a warehouse, plant, shipping and receiving, stocking or similar physical job
Not currently working mainly as a supervisor or manager
Able to lift and move heavy loads safely
Comfortable working second shift, 2 PM to midnight, Monday to Thursday

Certifications

Prior forklift experience is a plus
Forklift certification is a plus
