Direct hire

Your hire is your employee from day one, on your payroll and your benefits. Melben is the recruiter, not the employer, and we run no payroll on a direct-hire placement.

Contract staffing

The tradesperson works your floor on a defined-term assignment. Melben handles the placement and the pay administration, so approving hours is the whole of your paperwork.

An hourly rate, agreed before the assignment starts.

Pure contingency. No upfront fee, no retainer, no subscription. If you never hire, you never pay.

90-day replacement guarantee

If the placement leaves within 90 days, for any reason, we refill the role at no additional fee. In writing.

Every inquiry answered within four business hours. Not an autoresponder, a person who read it.

The process, spelled out

    A short call on the role, the environment, the pay, and what a good fit looks like on your floor.

  2. Sourcing

    We work our network and the market nationwide. You do nothing.

  3. Credential verification

    Licenses and certifications verified against documented proof before anyone reaches you.

  4. Shortlist

    A small slate of verified candidates worth your interview time.

  5. Interviews

    We coordinate, prep both sides, and keep it moving.

  6. Placement

    Direct hire or contract, whichever the role calls for. Our one-time fee is due only now.

  7. 90-day guarantee

    If the placement leaves within 90 days, we refill the role at no additional fee.

Verification is the standard

Industrial hiring runs on credentials: EPA 608, AWS weld certs, journeyman licenses, NFPA 70E. We verify them with documented proof before a candidate is submitted. A resume claim is not proof. If we cannot verify it, you do not see the candidate.
