Responsibilities
- Run a fiber laser cutting machine on sheet and plate metal
- Load and unload material and set up jobs for the shift
- Edit cut programs at the laser control
- Check parts against the job drawing and tolerances
- Keep the machine and work area clean and safe
Requirements
- Prior hands-on fiber laser operating experience, able to run the machine with no training
- Experience cutting steel, stainless, aluminum, and titanium
- Dated hands-on time running a fiber or CO2 laser cutting machine on sheet or plate metal
- Able to edit programs at the machine control
