Melben is hiring a CNC Tube Bender Operator for a manufacturer in Sidney, Ohio. This is a direct-hire, full-time position on the employer's payroll, with one opening. The start date is flexible.

The operator sets up and runs CNC tube bending equipment to form tubing to the customer's specified bend angles, radii and dimensions. The work involves loading tube, checking the first piece against the drawing, running production parts and keeping the machine within tolerance on the first shift.

This role calls for hands-on tube bending experience. A candidate who has only worked on CNC machining centers, without tube bending time, is not a match for this opening. The pay is $1 per hour, a set rate.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and run CNC tube bending equipment on first shift
  • Load tube and verify bend dimensions against the print
  • Inspect first-article and in-process parts for accuracy
  • Keep the work area clean and the machine running safely
  • Report scrap, downtime and quality issues to the supervisor

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience operating a CNC tube bender
  • Ability to read drawings and measure to tolerance
  • Reliable attendance and a safe work attitude
