Melben is recruiting cleaners for a manufacturer in the Cleveland, Ohio region. This is a direct-hire, full-time position on the employer's payroll, with three openings available. The start date is flexible.
Cleaners keep the production floor and work areas clean, safe and ready for work each day. Typical tasks include sweeping and mopping, wiping down surfaces and equipment, emptying waste, restocking supplies and following the site's cleaning schedule and safety rules. Senior cleaners take on more of the lead work and help train newer staff.
Pay is $18 to $20 per hour, depending on experience. This is a starting rate, based on what you bring to the role. If you are reliable, careful about detail and comfortable working in an industrial setting, apply through Melben.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize production floors, work areas and restrooms
- Empty waste and keep walkways clear of debris
- Wipe down machines, benches and surfaces to the site standard
- Restock cleaning supplies and report equipment problems
- Follow the cleaning schedule and site safety rules
- Senior cleaners: lead daily routes and help train new cleaners
