Melben is recruiting two Maintenance Supervisors for a manufacturer in Lexington, Ohio. This is a direct-hire role on the employer's payroll, with a starting pay of $80 per year depending on experience. The start date is flexible.
The supervisor leads a team of plant and industrial maintenance technicians and keeps production equipment running on second or third shift. You will plan and assign repair and preventive maintenance work, troubleshoot breakdowns, and make sure the team follows safety rules. Candidates must already have hands-on maintenance experience and must have led technicians before, as a maintenance supervisor, maintenance manager or maintenance lead.
Candidates must live in or near Lexington, Ohio. Relocation is not part of this role. If you tell us whether you prefer second shift or third shift, we will match you to the opening that fits best.
Responsibilities
- Lead and schedule plant or industrial maintenance technicians on off shifts
- Plan preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and direct repairs when machines go down
- Track maintenance work orders and parts
- Enforce safety and lockout procedures for the crew
Requirements
- Hands-on maintenance experience in a plant or industrial setting
- Prior experience leading technicians as a maintenance supervisor, manager or lead
- Able to work second or third shift
- Lives locally in Lexington, Ohio, with no relocation needed
