Melben is hiring three journeyman CNC machinists for a manufacturer in Toledo, Ohio. This is a full-time, direct-hire position on the employer's payroll, with a start date that can be flexed to fit your schedule. Pay is $25 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.

The work is setting up, running and checking CNC parts on third shift. You will be responsible for reading prints, holding tight tolerances, and making sure the parts you produce meet the spec before they leave the machine. The employer is looking for someone who already knows CNC surface grinders and can run a job with little supervision.

Responsibilities

Set up and run CNC surface grinders
Read blueprints and interpret tolerances
Inspect finished parts with precision measuring tools
Adjust machines to keep parts within spec
Keep the work area clean and safe during the shift

Requirements

Journeyman-level CNC machinist experience
Three or more years of hands-on machining experience
Working knowledge of CNC surface grinders
Ability to work third shift reliably

Certifications

Manufacturing or machining certificate a plus
