Melben is recruiting a CNC Machinist in Stow, OH for a direct-hire position with a manufacturer in the area. This is a full-time role on the employer's payroll, with one opening available and a flexible start date.

The machinist will set up, run and monitor CNC mills to produce precision parts to print. The work involves reading blueprints, checking dimensions with measuring tools, adjusting tool offsets and keeping parts within tolerance from the first piece to the last. Pay is $30 to $35 per hour, depending on experience.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of hands-on CNC milling experience. Melben handles the screening and submittal process, so apply with your resume and we will be in touch about next steps.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and run CNC milling machines
  • Read blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Measure finished parts with precision inspection tools
  • Adjust tooling and offsets to hold tolerance
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning

Requirements

  • 5+ years of CNC milling experience
  • Ability to read blueprints and GD&T
  • Comfortable with precision measuring tools
  • Attention to detail and a clean inspection record
