This is a direct-hire night shift supervisor role for a CNC machinist in Maumee, OH. You will lead the night shift on the CNC machining floor, keeping parts moving, machines running, and the crew working safely and to print.

The work centers on setting up, running, and checking parts on CNC equipment, with a strong focus on horizontal boring machines. The pay is $30 to $35 per hour, depending on experience. One opening is available, and the start date is flexible.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and schedule the night shift machining crew
  • Set up and run CNC milling and boring work to print
  • Check first-off parts and maintain tolerances
  • Troubleshoot machine problems and keep production on schedule
  • Enforce shop safety and housekeeping standards

Requirements

  • 5+ years of CNC machining experience
  • Hands-on experience with horizontal boring machines
  • Able to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
  • Ability to lead and coordinate a shift crew
