Melben is recruiting a CNC Machinist for a manufacturer in Youngstown, OH. This is a full-time direct hire role on the employer's payroll, with one opening. The pay range is $18 to $25 per hour, depending on experience, and the employer is flexible on the start date.

The work is running and setting up CNC lathes and mills to cut metal parts to print. You will load and set tooling, set offsets, check parts with measuring tools, and keep the machines running to size. The employer requires the ability to program and edit CNC code, so you will be expected to make changes at the machine when a job needs them.

The role can be filled on first shift or second shift. If you know CNC lathes and mills and can edit a program on the floor, send your details to Melben and we will get your application to the employer.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and run CNC lathes and mills
  • Load tooling and set offsets
  • Edit CNC programs at the machine
  • Check finished parts against print
  • Keep the work area clean and organized

Requirements

  • Experience running CNC lathes and mills
  • Ability to program and edit CNC code
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to use precision measuring tools
