Melben is hiring two CNC Machinists for a manufacturer in the Columbus, Ohio area. This is a direct-hire position on the employer's payroll, full time on first shift. The role pays $55,000 to $75,000 per year, depending on experience, and the start date is flexible.
The machinist will set up, run and inspect CNC mills and related equipment to produce parts to print. The work calls for reading blueprints, selecting tooling and offsets, checking dimensions with precision measuring tools, and keeping a clean, safe shop. Candidates with a solid background in milling and a steady record of holding tight tolerances are the target for this opening.

Responsibilities
- Set up and run CNC milling machines
- Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings
- Select tooling, set work offsets and verify programs
- Inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers and gauges
- Maintain tooling, keep the work area clean and follow safety procedures
Requirements
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience
- Ability to read blueprints and measure to tight tolerances
- Reliable attendance and a willingness to work first shift
