Melben is hiring three welder fabricators for a manufacturer in Maumee, Ohio. This is a full-time, permanent direct-hire position on the employer's payroll. Start date is flexible, and both first shift and second shift are available.

The work is hands-on fabrication: cutting, fitting and welding metal parts built from drawings. Candidates must be able to read blueprints and work from them accurately. Real welding and fabrication experience is required for these roles.

The starting pay is $1 per hour. Melben places skilled trades in manufacturing across the US, and we will walk you through the next steps once you apply.

Responsibilities

  • Read and follow blueprints to lay out and fabricate parts
  • Cut, fit and tack metal assemblies before final welding
  • Weld fabricated parts to specification
  • Check finished work against drawings and tolerances
  • Keep your work area clean and safe

Requirements

  • Real welding and fabrication experience
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Able to work first or second shift
  • Reliable attendance and a safe work habit
