Melben is recruiting two MIG welders for a direct-hire production welding role in Mason, Ohio. This is a full-time position on the employer's payroll, and candidates will work either first shift or second shift. The start date is flexible.
The work is production MIG welding in a manufacturing shop in Mason. Welders on this line build parts to print and need steady, clean welds that hold up to repeat production runs. Candidates must pass a weld test on a plate before hire.
Pay starts at $22.60 per hour and goes up to $35 per hour depending on experience. Industrial or production welding background is preferred over general fabrication work.
Responsibilities
- Run MIG welds on production parts to print
- Set up and adjust welding equipment for each job
- Read blueprints and weld symbols
- Inspect finished welds and fix defects
- Keep the work area clean and safe
Requirements
- Real production MIG welding experience
- Pass a weld test on a plate before hire
- Willing to work first or second shift
- Industrial or production welding background preferred
