Melben is placing a Maintenance Technician with hands-on PLC experience at a manufacturer in Cincinnati, OH. This is a direct-hire position on the employer's payroll, with one opening and first shift hours. The start date is flexible.
The technician keeps production equipment running by diagnosing and repairing PLC-controlled machines and the industrial control systems that drive them. The role also covers reading mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics and parts specifications to work on equipment across the plant.
Pay starts at $30.70 per hour and goes up to $46.05 per hour, depending on experience. Candidates should be based in or able to commute to the Cincinnati area.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled production equipment
- Work on full Industrial Control System project implementation
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics
- Use parts specifications to select and replace components
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime
Requirements
- Hands-on PLC experience is required
