Melben is recruiting four Maintenance Technicians for a manufacturer in Greenfield, OH. This is a direct-hire, full-time position on the employer's payroll, working third shift. The role covers keeping production equipment running safely and reliably on nights and weekends.
The work is hands-on industrial maintenance: diagnosing and repairing machinery, troubleshooting PLC-controlled systems, and working on electrical circuits, motors, drives and controls. Mid to senior level candidates are wanted, with at least five years of experience and related course work.
Pay is $30 to $40 per hour, depending on experience. The employer is flexible on the start date. Candidates should be ready to commit to night and weekend work.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial production equipment during third shift
- Diagnose and fix PLC-controlled systems and machine logic faults
- Maintain and repair electrical circuits, motors and control panels
- Perform preventive maintenance and keep work records
- Respond to breakdowns quickly to minimize production downtime
Requirements
- Industrial maintenance background with PLC and electrical skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Related course work in industrial maintenance, electrical or controls
- Available to work night and weekend shifts
